aaHOW
TO DETERMINE THE RIGHT SIZE OF TRANSFORMER |
||
The
A.C power (VA) required to supply a D.C load through a rectifier circuit
is higher than the D.C. power going through the load. The A.C. power rating
will vary with the type of rectifier circuit and the type of load. We
are giving you formulas that are to be used as a guide to help you determine
the right size of transformer. We have chosen the most common rectifier
circuits and loads. |
